"Taking it to the Limit": 2025-Jan-16 F2F Speech Contests at Downtown Community Centre

Join us for an exciting meeting of Talk of the Town Toastmasters this week in a face-to-face setting at the Downtown Community Centre from 12-1.
Judges debriefing is planned for 11:50-12:00 in the Hallway outside the room.
We are holding two Club Contests:
- Evaluation Speech Contest:
- We bring in a Target Speaker from another Club in another Area whom the contestants are most likely to have never seen present before.
- He/she gives a 5-7 minute speech and then our Evaluation Contestants will be providing inspiring and helpful feedback in a 2-3 minute Evaluation.
- International Speech Contest:
- Each contestant will deliver a 5-7 minute speech to inspire and connect with their audience.

Winners of each contest advance to the next level, the Area 61 Contests on Thursday, Jan 30th!
Location: Downtown Community Centre, 35B Weber St. W, Kitchener, ON in PreSchool Room
Accessible via bus or iON going to Kitchener City Hall stop on Duke near Young. For parking, come into the Community Centre where reception will give you a parking pass to put on your dashboard.
